Founded by physicians in 1982 and physician-led today, MAG Mutual is one of the largest providers of medical professional  liability (malpractice) insurance in the U.S. with offices throughout the Southeast. We are led by physicians, and as a mutual, we are owned by our 17,000+ physician policyholders.

Our claims management process reflects our commitment to the physicians we serve. Most claims are reviewed by local claims committees comprising local physicians.
